Within 12 hours, the police arrested two suspects. The accused have been identified as Ravinder Kumar, a resident of Subhana Road, Garha Jalandhar, and Satish alias Kaka, a resident of Bhargava Camp Jalandhar. According to the police, the attack is believed to have been orchestrated by Pakistan's intelligence agency, ISI, with the aim of disturbing religious harmony in Punjab.
