Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's troubles appear to be far from over. NDP House Leader Peter Julian has stated that if Trudeau remains Prime Minister by late February or early March, the NDP may consider supporting a motion of no confidence against the government.

Julian's remarks follow recent political instability after Chrystia Freeland's departure from the cabinet.

Notably, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, responding to journalists' questions yesterday, emphasized that following Freeland's resignation, all options are now on the table.

Freeland announced her resignation on Monday, revealing that Prime Minister Trudeau had asked her last Friday to step down as Finance Minister to take on a different ministry. Instead, she chose to leave the cabinet entirely.
