Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal’s hunger strike at the Khanauri border in Punjab-Haryana entered its 59th day on Thursday. After receiving medical treatment, his health has shown some improvement.
A special room is now being constructed for Dallewal at the Khanauri border. The room, made of glass, will be completely soundproof, allowing sunlight to pass through easily. This initiative is being carried out on the advice of doctors to provide Dallewal with fresh air and sunshine.
The room, equipped with tires, can be moved around to ensure Dallewal receives sunlight as needed. A team of doctors from Rajindra Hospital in Patiala has been deployed in shifts to monitor his condition.
