Punjab Congress leader in the Vidhan Sabha, Partap Singh Bajwa, has criticized Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann over his meeting with farmers. Bajwa described the Chief Minister’s attitude towards farmers during the meeting with farmer leaders at Punjab Bhawan today as extremely shameful.
The Congress leader expressed surprise that, instead of addressing the serious and genuine demands of Punjab’s farmers, Bhagwant Mann is attempting to suppress their struggle at the behest of the BJP government at the Centre. Partap Singh Bajwa further stated that he supports the legitimate demands of Punjab’s farmers and called on the Central government to fulfill those demands.
